The show, inspired by the life and work of the naive artist Marian Henel, is an image of environmental determinism that inevitably changes the quality of life of the individual. The hero Edzio/Edward, due to his physical disability and social exclusion, is used by the local community as an object of unsatisfied urges. Childhood in the village of Pristajń becomes burdensome with consequences for the whole life of the hero, which he lives in the Nazi concentration camp, in the structures of the Stalinist apparatus of violence and the communist experiment — the state farm, finally in the hospital for the mentally ill and mentally handicapped, where during therapeutic classes he suddenly begins to create unusual photographs and tapestries. Edward's works become objects of naive art, feeding the best collections of art brut in Switzerland. The author himself in the world of the art market will never exist, and his person will melt into oblivion.
