With Nunc Stans, which will be published on September 10, 2026, LuDowIC opens a new chapter marked by four months of almost complete isolation and an ongoing exploration of time, memory, and transience.
The album was created surrounded by aging synthesizers, tape machines, gong speakers and the rare Trautonium — instruments and machines, each with their own story and physical presence. As the process progressed, Matheus was increasingly drawn to the idea that there are moments that appear to exist for a short time outside of linear time. Not necessarily big moments, but often quiet and easily overlooked ones.
The same sense of presence continues in the live performance.
At the center of the stage is a dense landscape of analog instruments, cables, resonating loudspeakers and machines, which generate and manipulate every sound in real time. Instead of hiding behind screens or pre-programmed structures, the performance makes the process visible — and allows the audience to experience not only the music for themselves, but also the physical gestures, imperfections, and interactions that shape it at the moment.
