In the upcoming season, the presence of Polish artists is particularly welcome. The audience will be able to admire as many as four singers from Poland: Andrzej Filończyk (Manon), Piotr Buszewski and Artur Ruciński (Otello) and Piotr Beczała, who will perform in Richard Wagner's Parsifal.

Among the highlights of the season, it is worth mentioning the new staging of Macbeth Verdi. Lady Macbeth will be played by Lise Davidsen and the title part will be sung by Quinn Kelsey. The orchestra will be conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin. One of the most anticipated events of the season will be the premiere of Kevin Puts' opera Silent Night, for which the composer was honored with the Pulitzer Prize. The work, inspired by the authentic events of the 1914 Christmas Armistice, will be performed under the baton of Met debutant Dalia Stasevska.
