The concert of the Maciek Pysz Quartet will be connected with the Polish premiere of Maćek Pysz's latest album “Pont De Vie”, released by the Italian label ABeat Records.

“Pont De Vie” is a personal album inspired by travel, memory, encounters and passing. Maćek Pysz's music combines jazz with influences from classical music, flamenco, tango, Brazilian music and European musical traditions, creating a melodic, spatial and emotional sound.

The album was recorded in a trio with prominent Italian bandoneonist Daniele di Bonaventura and double bassist Yuri Goloubev. “Pont De Vie” was very well received by international critics, and in 2026 it also gained wide interest from Polish jazz and cultural media.

The album and work of Maćek Pysz were written by, among others, Jazz Forum, JazzPress, Era Jazz, Laboratorium Muzyskich Fuzji and other Polish media. The album was also presented and recommended by TVP Kultura, which described “Pont De Vie” as a work “of exceptional craftsmanship, exquisite compositions and intensity”.
