Macy Gray - The Trouble With The Truth Tour

Her distinctive, slightly hoarseness voice cannot be confused with any other. Macy Gray, a GRAMMY® winner, author of the world hit “I Try” and one of the most expressive figures of modern R&B and soul, has consistently followed her own artistic path for more than two decades.Originally from Canton, Ohio, the artist initially planned a career as a screenwriter. She got into music by accident — when the vocalist who was supposed to record her demo didn't show up in the studio, she stood in front of the microphone herself. This is how one of the most recognizable voices of the turn of the century was born. The breakthrough came in 1999 with the release of the debut album “On How Life Is”. The album reached triple platinum status, and the single “I Try” became a worldwide hit, bringing Macy Gray a GRAMMY® Award for Best Female Pop Performance. In her career, she has also won two BRIT Awards, five GRAMMY® nominations and sold more than 25 million albums worldwide.Macy Gray's music is a unique blend of soul, R&B, funk and jazz with a modern sound. She has collaborated with Ariana Grande, Bobby Brown and the Galactic band, and her concerts have attracted audiences around the world for years. In parallel, she has developed an acting career, appearing in, among others, the film “Rehearsal Day” with Denzel Washington and the productions of “For Colored Girls”, “Brotherly Love”, “Cardboard Boxer” and the TV series “Fuller House”. Macy Gray has not slowed down for years. In 2023, she released the album “The Reset” with The California Jet Club, which addressed the themes of loneliness, resilience and interpersonal relationships, and a year later presented the single “I AM” with Big Freedia - an energetic manifesto of authenticity and self-acceptance. After more than 25 years on the stage, Macy Gray remains an artist who does not give in to trends. Her unique voice, uncompromising and artistic independence make her still one of the most original and respected figures on the world soul and R&B.22.07.2026Macy Gray - I Try (Official Video) Macy Gray - I Try (Official Video) Macy Gray - I Try (Official Video) Macy Gray - Sweet Baby ft.
