Did you know that the food we eat affects our mental health? The latest research shows a clear correlation — and this is important knowledge in a time of both distrust and unhealthy dietary patterns.
Nutritional psychiatry is a field of research that examines the links between food, the gut microbiome, inflammation, and mental health.
Author and nutritionist Kamilla Rønnestad has followed the field of research over the past ten years, and she will show us the way from the laboratory and all the way home to the kitchen table. Learn more about how food can, among other things, reduce the risk of — and even help treat — depression, and how food can help increase the quality of life for all of us.
Kamilla's presentation is part of Nørrebro Library's big theme day about food.
