Magic Hammond XXL

Venue: Bar - For three years, it has been an integral part of bar culture at the Deutsches Theater: The Hammond organ “B3”. Host Jan Jordan invites you to a musical fireworks display once a quarter after the performances!

The instrument, invented in 1935, is considered one of the first synthesizers in the world and is constantly appreciated and continuously used by musicians of all genres due to its diverse and unique sound possibilities. You can hear them in jazz, rock, pop, soul, funk, electronic music and classical music. After sleeping beauty for a long time in the theatre basement, the organ was reactivated in 2023 and has been the star of this event ever since. After the performances on the theatre stages, the program in the bar starts with a one-hour, top-class concert. The stage is then opened for everyone who wants to take part - always at the center: The Hammond B3.

They are invited to bring their own instrument to the theatre this evening, join in or work on the organ themselves. Talk to us!
