Corridorers of Power 30th Concert on VEGA's 30th Birthday

What better way to celebrate VEGA's 30th birthday than by inviting the party starters in the Corridors of Power to their 30th concert.

The battle kicks off on December 30, when you can get the Christmas peace and the brown potatoes knocked out of your body as the band opens up their mighty discography of ear-catching and fast-paced rock hits. About the concert in VEGA, the band says:

“Over the years, we have played well over 1,000 concerts. And a whopping 29 of them have been “at home on VEGA,” as we like to call it. So our concert on December 30th will be our 30th concert at VEGA- and then even here in 2026, when the venue can celebrate its 30th birthday!”

Magtens Korridorer manages to write Danish rock history with noise, bang and elegance. With a unique directness, they have written themselves into everyone's everyday grind and at the same time manage to keep everything recognizable at arm's length. The irony, the roaring and the big questions of life are paramount when Corridors of Power puts trivialities under loop and smashes from there with hard-hitting rock realism.

In 2005, Magtens Korridorer released the debut album Friværdig, and quickly the quintet won the hearts of the people and the acclaim of reviewers, who used words such as “Demonstration of power” and “Dansk rocks nye mithavere”.

Since then, they have released a number of albums, each of which has delivered solid hits to the now imposant back catalogue. The album Club Promise from 2022 is the last shot on the tribe, which includes the hit singles “Lonely Star”, “Månelys i Rav” and “Kældermorgen” among others.

The album was bathed in stars from the Danish reviewers. Politiken chimed in with four, beating hearts, among others, writing: “With 'Club Promise', the Korridorer of Power have made their best and most focused album in several years.”
