MACBETH. VOICES FROM THE DARKNESS

“Macbeth. Voices from the Darkness” is a spectacle that diagnoses the condition of the modern world. The last years in which we live have surprised and terrified us in a way hitherto unknown. War is everywhere, and the sin of pride and the disease of ambition affects almost everyone, not just the eponymous Macbeth. The world in ruins, the world in ruins, the apocalypse, the evil living in the swamps, is not afraid to appear to us and even speak to us and come into play. Lucifer no longer hides, but exposes his face. Where there is no love, evil is born. What happens if we don't say “No!” if we let ourselves be possessed by the destructive whispers of this world? What will happen if we do not respond to the evil, violence and destructive impulses of politicians and demagogues?

In order to survive, Lady Macbeth must be equal to, and even stronger than, a man; she trades childbearing for destruction. For all violence, rape, manipulation and betrayal, we women, our mothers, grandmothers and the spirits of our great-grandmothers take revenge. We challenge the entire world of violence to a duel! Lady Macbeth's voice is the voice of one of the witches, she is one of them. It's the voice of revenge. How else can we defend ourselves...

In this dark world marked by the “stupidity of the world”, Shakespeare's titular hero Macbeth throws himself, trapped in his ambitions but also in his fears. He hears voices, sees reflections of his actions, begins to discover the darkness of his soul. All this destroys him from the inside.
