The Freud Museum is delighted to host an artist talk by Ana Čvorović, whose work is displayed at the Museum, in an exhibition curated by Sacha Craddock (November 16-December 6 2026). The talk will be followed by a wine reception (9pm – 10pm).
In this artist talk, Ana Čvorović discusses the work she developed through her research with FREEPSY – Free Clinics and Psychoanalysis for the People, bringing together earlier iterations of the work made during the project with the new sculpture and sound installation exhibited at the Freud Museum. Taking the works as a starting point, Čvorović reflects on how sculpture, sound, objects and spatial practice have informed her thinking about the psychoanalytic clinic as a relational, social and political space.
The talk considers questions such as: what enters the clinical space? What remains outside it? And how might the material, spatial and sonic conditions of the clinic shape psychic life, relationships, supports, boundaries and exclusions?
The talk will be followed by a Q&A and a wine and canapés reception.
This event is part of the three-week Free Clinics Festival, organised by the FREEPSY Collective. Held between November 16 and December 6 in various locations across London, the Free Clinics Festival includes a series workshops, book launches, conferences, artist talks, exhibitions and more. Please check the FREEPSY website for more information on how to register for the events: https://freepsyproject.com/fcf/.
