The Little Mermaid Premiere December 5, 2026

The Little Mermaid is the latest ballet production of the Lublin Opera, inspired by the timeless fairy tale of Hans Christian Andersen.

The story of desire, transformation and the search for one's own place will be presented without words - through movement, music and emotions. Moving music, expressive choreography, unusual costumes and multimedia effects will create a full-scale show. It is a spectacle for both young and adult spectators, ballet lovers and people who just want to discover this art form.

Andersen's classic tale will receive a new stage interpretation, in which the fairy tale becomes the starting point for a story about freedom, choice and the price of making dreams come true.
