Little Eufonie: Machines and speeds

We invite the youngest audience of the Eufonie Festival together with their guardians to a concert of Machine and Speed performed by Chain Ensemble. On Saturday, November 28, there will be two concerts: at 11:30 (3-5 years) and at 13:00 (6-9 years).

Speeding locomotives, spinning gears and... unexpected breakdowns. This is a fascinating journey into the interior of musical mechanisms. We will see how the band turns classic instruments into powerful, acoustic engines. We will go from the jamming cogs inspired by Adámek's work, through the stroboscopic momentum of Sumera and the industrial energy in the spirit of Mechanofaktura, to the illusion of merging sounds evoking Ligeti's Continuum. A concert full of dizzying tempos, grinds and kinetic force!

Sales will start soon on the organizer's website.

The theme of this year's Euphonies is “golden glue” — a story about music that has helped preserve memory, build dialogue and find hope in our part of Europe for centuries, even in difficult moments of history. The full programme of the festival is available here.
