Small Marriage Crimes

Probably none of the feelings cause such extreme emotions as love. One moment he can drive us crazy, and in the next he can make us the happiest people on Earth.

The protagonists of Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt's “Little Crimes of Marriage” - Lisa and Gilles - face the whole palette of emotions that love offers us, checking what is left of the once hot feeling after 10 years of marriage. However, the conditions for this are not favorable - Gilles suffers from accidental amnesia, and Lisa - for unknown reasons - does not tell him everything. Instead of a frank conversation, questions multiply, and the protagonists, embroiled in lies and intrigue, do not notice how they get to the bottom of the matter.

“Small Marriage Crimes” is a perverse crime thriller that introduces you to a tense investigation that will help answer the question: what can we afford in the name of love?

After 20 years since the first release of the drama, “Small Marriage Crimes” we will be able to watch in a new translation on the stage of the Wanda Siemaszkowa Theater in Rzeszów directed by Jan Hussakowski.
