Małgorzata Asman | Premiere of a children's book

We cordially invite all families on October 20 at 17.00 to PROmediów (Wojska Polskiego 2 avenue) for the premiere of a very Szczecin book for children written and illustrated by Małgorzata Asman.

An extraordinary journey awaits you, during which we will read, search, sing, create and discover Szczecin, all together, with the whole family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦!

🎬 To begin with, you will meet GryFika and Błonia, who will invite you to a joint expedition. You will watch a short video, look at the book together, read excerpts from it and discover stories related to the Gryphites.

🔎 Then we will go on a great search for griffins in the library! Will you be able to find all the hidden clues to the griffin? Perceptiveness, cooperation and a little detective cunning will come in handy 🕵️‍♀️🦁!

🎶 There will also be no shortage of music and fun! We will play together on the song “Meet the GryFiK and his friends!” — the official song of the series “GryFik i Błonia w Szczecin”.

🎨 And later, each family team will create their own Coat of Arms of the Explorer and Guardian of Szczecin. We will design, draw and color to create unique symbols of our family team ✏️🛡️.

🌆 At the end, the Mission of the Little Guard of Szczecin awaits you - a special task that you will take with you and you will be able to complete during a family walk around the city. After all, the best adventures begin when we get out of the book... and start exploring the world!

Admission is free.

📖 About the book

“GryFik and Błonia in Szczecin. In the Footsteps of the Griffins” is the first part of an educational series of books that takes children on a journey full of curiosities through history and the present. Accessible stories help you get to know and understand the city, while coloring illustrations, quizzes, puzzles and fun encourage you to explore it even more carefully.

In the first part, the children get to know the coat of arms of Szczecin, the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes, discover what griffins are, who the Griffins were and why they played such an important role in the history of Szczecin and Pomerania.

Together with the heroes, the children discover the most beautiful corners of Szczecin, get to know the fascinating world of nature and learn how to take care of the environment.

The book combines adventure with education, awakens children's curiosity and encourages the youngest to discover their own city and build ties with its history, nature and heritage.
