Malk De Koijn

“Phantastic” - Malk De Koijn is back in Store VEGA

There has long been radio silence in the camp of rhyming legends.

But last summer, Geolo G, Blow Bukki and Tue Track released the EP Number 5, a potent continuation of the trio's musical work, where their universe is still expanding in wild and unexpected directions.

Over the summer, Malk De Koijn has delivered their sharply cut lyrics to an enthusiastic audience at South of the Sun and Roskilde Festival.

The latter was reviewed by Soundvenue, who stuck five flags in the leather steak and wrote:

“We took a walk through most corners of the back catalogue. By far most of the concert became just a hit parade, almost a greatest hits album. And what hits! They had the audience in the palm of their hands. There was hardly one Dadaist text bite that wasn't shouted back against the Orange Scene.”

There is one before and one after Malk De Koijn in Danish music. The group represents a unique blend of musical anarchism, fanatical social criticism and playful universes that only they and the initiated understand.

For decades, Tue Track, Geolo G and Blæs Bukki have stood as untouchable hip-hop icons on the Danish music scene. The trio have created their very own surreal language universe with storytelling and technical execution at the forefront.

On November 7, Store VEGA will be transformed into a bubbling witch pot of fabulous animals, world-class rhymes and heavy, rocking beats when Malk De Koijn takes the bird on you!
