About classes

We invite you to a creative meeting with ceramics and local traditional design!

During the workshop we will take a closer look at the traditional folk motifs of the Rzeszowiaks and the neighboring Lasowiaks. We will look for inspiration in them, discover characteristic patterns and try to give them our own, contemporary form.

At first, there will be time to sketch, experiment and play with patterns. Then you will transfer the selected motifs to ceramic tiles and paint them with special paints.

You do not need to have any experience in working with ceramics - all you need is curiosity about local design, a little imagination and the desire to create something with your own hands. Finished works will go to the ceramic workshop, where they will be fired in the furnace. After firing, you will receive unique ceramic tiles designed by your own hands.

The workshops are implemented as part of the project “Resovianistyka — Młoda Akademia Rzeszów” and will be a unique opportunity to get to know the local heritage and creatively experiment with traditional design.

Wiktoria Bielska — head of Gleena Workshop, where manual work with clay meets inspiration from nature, tradition and a contemporary look at ceramics. It is a place where creative freedom, mindfulness and craftsmanship combine to create a unique space to explore the world of ceramics.
