Painting with BRUSH and LENS Bożena and Adam Socików together in life and passion

Bożena Socik

I am a beautician by profession. Currently retired. My adventure with painting began unexpectedly and to my delight. For Mother's Day, I received an easel and paints from Miriam and Emanuel — my youngest children.

Family is my greatest treasure, and a husband who surprises me all my life with roses without occasion, and that has winged a woman.

I write about the family because it is my engine, the driving force of my passion, which has become painting, with which you can relax, gain strength to continue acting and be a fulfilled and happy person.

I took my first steps in painting in the BRAMA studio in Bram Wałowa in Stargard in autumn 2021. Currently, since autumn 2023, I am in the Malachite group in DKK in Stargard among exceptional painting enthusiasts. Together we take part in numerous vernissages and group exhibitions.

I participate in competitions in Poland and abroad.

I paint pictures of different subjects. The technique in which I create is mainly acrylic. Supposedly, in order to find your way, you have to try what suits us best and what is in our soul, so I tried: writing icons, watercolors, charcoal painting, structural and oil painting.

“If we're on the right track, let's keep going.”

Photography has been my hobby and passion since I was a teenager. I started my adventure with photography in the 80s of the last century. Due to my profession as a teacher and coach of ballroom dancing and editing the only dance portal in Poland: Twistservice.pl, I mainly photographed dance couples at ballroom dance tournaments.

I also photograph artists during stage performances, concerts and photographically record occasional events.
