TODDLERS IN THE LAND OF SOUND - “Ugly Duckling” - music concert for babies and children under 6 years old with families

“Toddlers in the Land of Sound” are concerts that educate and develop, strengthen the bond between children and parents, teach how to spend time with your child in a nice and creative way. Varied, changeable and dynamic music stimulates movement, laughter and fun together. Concerts support the development of musical abilities of the child. They are based on the theory and experience of the American music psychologist - Professor Edwin E. Gordon.

The idea of the concerts is to stimulate the development of the child through music using his natural predisposition and abilities during the period of greatest absorption of the young mind. Influencing the child with a variety of sounds, motifs and melodies can lead to an understanding of music and optimal development of musical abilities. Prof. Gordon suggests that by the age of 3, children go through certain cognitive stages of the so-called pre-audition, when we listen to the little ones with different musical scales, rhythms, sounds in the form of short songs and rhythm machines.

The learned musical content creates in the child a very thorough basis for a possible subsequent musical education. The child learns music just as he learns speech, that is, naturally and at the same time very individually. During the concert, through the variety of sounds and instrument colors, we transmit a large baggage of positive emotions, we attract the audience to movement, to express themselves through singing or sound imitating effects.

In a fun-filled musical journey, Milusiński is accompanied by fantastic musicians of the philharmonic and orchestra, and at the same time experienced educators, led by violinist and cultural animator - Dorota Banàs.

Every month, “Toddlers in the Land of Sound” proposes a different theme, a new musical repertoire and fun inspired by it. We recommend taking part in the entire concert cycle.
