In the middle of the desert, a small newcomer from asteroid B612 meets a pilot whose plane crashed in the heart of this wasteland. The doomed castaways, despite being diametrically different, grow closer to each other and discover how much they have in common. This canonical, beautiful story in a poetic way reminds us of what is important and most important — it is a story of friendship, taming, attachment and the fact that the essence of things often lies beneath the surface. It is also a diagnosis of the weakness of human nature and the traps of loneliness that “castaways” such as the Businessman, the King, the Drunkard or the Idol fall into, forgetting how often “the most important thing is invisible to the eyes”.
A play based on the book “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint Exupery.
