Chicago, 1929: Gamaschen-Colombo has just eliminated a traitor. It's stupid for the two unemployed musicians Joe and Jerry that they watched it. To escape the gangster, they dress up as women and join a girls' band that is on their way to sunny Florida. The fact that the two “ladies” will soon feel very comfortable there is primarily due to Sugar, the band's attractive ukulele player.
