Manuel Fernandez — “I Love Cinema” — film music

“I love cinema” — film music concert

“House”, “Amelia”, “Requiem for a Dream”, “The Połaniecki Family” — this concert is a journey through the most moving soundtracks. His program included both well-known and beloved musical motifs, as well as less obvious compositions, which the pianist Manuel Fernandez found himself, enchanted by their unique atmosphere.

The artist does not limit himself only to performing works — he shares with the audience stories about the emotions that accompanied him when discovering these compositions, evokes scenes that particularly moved him, and reflects on the role of music in the construction of cinematic worlds. Thanks to this, the concert becomes not only a musical event, but also a shared experience in which sound and image intertwine into an emotional experience.

Manuel Fernandez: An artist who combines technical proficiency with interpretive sensitivity, creating concerts that are not just a performance of works. They are stories filled with sounds and emotions. Passionate about cinema and its sound layer, he not only performs compositions, but also takes listeners behind the scenes of their creation, shares personal reflections on film scenes and the emotions that these soundtracks evoke.

In recent years, Manuel has been increasingly staying in Poland, which has become an impulse for him to share his fascination with film music with the local audience. Interestingly, in his repertoire he includes not only international classics, but also Polish film motifs, discovering them for viewers outside the country.
