Mapping — dialogue with space

How to turn a building, object or interior into a screen for animation and moving image? During the lecture by Dr. Miłosz Margański, participants will learn the basics of projection mapping, one of the most effective forms of contemporary audiovisual activities.

The meeting will be an introduction to the issue of mapping on both micro and large scale urban projects. Using examples of specific projects, we will discuss the most commonly used tools, methods of preparing visual materials and the process of adapting the image to the selected space. Participants will also be able to see how masks and templates used in the creation of mapping projections are created in practice.

This is a proposal for all people interested in animation, the art of new media and the creative use of images in space.

The event is part of the Animation Forge. The lecture is aimed at people over 16 years of age interested in the art of animation, students of artistic disciplines, novice creators and all those who want to develop their creative and technological competences. Participation is free. Registration is required for the lecture through the application form. Link to the form: https://app.evently.pl/events/15486-kuznia-animacji-cykl-wykladow-otwartych
