Marek Krajewski, author of retro crime novels known not only in Poland, but also abroad. His books were filmed and transferred to the stages of theaters. He brought to life the characters of police commissioners, Eberhard Mock and Edward Popielski, who appear on the pages of numerous novels, guard the law, but also violate its rules. Krajewski is able to direct the action of his crime stories in such a way that it is a waste of time for the reader to interrupt the reading. There is intrigue, tension, dark atmosphere, heroes of blood and bones. The writer's work was recognized, among others, with the Grand Calibre Award, awarded for the best Polish-language crime novels or sensational novels. Next to Wroclaw or Lviv and Rzeszów, will it ever become a stage on which the chilling stories of criminals and law enforcement will unfold?
