Marek Piekarczyk acoustically — Concert on the occasion of Independence Day

On the Polish rock scene, it is difficult to find a character more expressive than Marek Piekarczyk. The singer, songwriter, composer, arranger and record producer has been delighting audiences with his unique voice and stage charisma for decades.

The artist has participated in the recording of more than 25 full-length albums and numerous singles released both in Poland and abroad. Together with the legendary band TSA, as well as in solo projects, he played more than 2,700 concerts around the world - from Europe to North America.

A unique chapter in his career was cooperation with the Musical Theater in Gdynia, where in the years 1986—1999 he played the title role in the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. The show, in which he performed more than 100 times, was presented not only in Poland, but also in the USA, Canada and Finland. He also returned to this role during a unique performance on the occasion of the 1050th anniversary of the Baptism of Poland, which gathered nearly 34 thousand spectators.

Marek Piekarczyk's output also includes projects such as the album “Proceder” with TSA, participation in the Yugopolis project or the solo album “Source”. The artist is also happy to engage in charitable activities and artistic initiatives of a unique nature.

He is also known to a wide audience as a charismatic coach of popular TV shows The Voice of Poland and The Voice Senior, where he has shared his experience and supported young talents over the years.

Currently Marek Piekarczyk is touring both with the TSA band and in exceptional projects “Marek Piekarczyk Acoustically” and “Marek Piekarczyk Acoustically and Smyczkowo”. It is this second edition that allows you to hear his greatest works in a completely new, atmospheric arrangement — accompanied by string instruments.

During the concert “Marek Piekarczyk — Acoustically and Smyczkowo”, outstanding musicians will perform alongside the artist: Tadeusz Apryjas (guitar), Jacek Borowiecki (cajon), Ada Kwaśniewicz (violin), Aldona Trybulec (viola), Karolina Drwiega (viola) and Jacek Bielecki (cello).

This is an unusual meeting with music, in which the rock energy meets the subtle sound of string instruments, creating a unique atmosphere and emotions that remain in the memory for a long time.
