Marek Stelar — Author's meeting

This time, readers will have the opportunity to meet the author in a place that also appears on the pages of his latest novel “The Negotiator”. The action of the book takes place, among others, in the Grif Arena. Is the location of one of the criminal stories in the sports hall a coincidence? It will be possible to talk to the author about this already on October 15.

Marek Stelar, actually Maciej Biernawski, comes from Szczecin. He made his debut as an author of crime novels, and the action of his books is consistently set in Szczecin and its surroundings. He is the winner of the Grand Caliber Award for the novel “Harm” and the Great Caliber Readers' Award for “Silence”.

During the meeting, the author will talk about how his crime stories are created, where he draws inspiration from and what the work on the novel looks like — from the first idea to the finished book. There will also be a conversation about the heroes of his books and about the “Negotiator” and its Szczecin plots.

The meeting with Mark Stelar will take place on October 15, 2026 at 18:00 at the Arena Cafe in the Enea Arena. Admission to the event is free.
