Mary Stuart

England, 16th century. A devastating religious war and the bloody struggle of two women — the queens of England and Scotland — for power over all of Britain. Based on historical events, the drama of Friedrich Schiller has not gone off the stage for two hundred years, and the roles of both protagonists pose a challenge to the actresses of subsequent generations.
