Mozart Violin Sonatas
About the event
Mark Steinberg and Jonathan Biss’s lunchtime programme in their multi-season survey of Mozart’s mature works for violin and keyboard is a feast of musical delights. Their programme includes the perfectly crafted Violin Sonata in E flat K481, among the composer’s finest pieces of chamber music, and the hauntingly beautiful Variations on Hélas, j’ai perdu mon amant (Alas, I have lost my lover).
