MARQ hits Ideal Bar with cool precision and raw nerve

With just two critically acclaimed singles in his catalog, rapper MARQ has already made a significant impression at home. Among other things, GAFFA has singled him out as “a name to watch out for in 2026”.

On debut single “INTROLUDE,” the Aarhusian rap-smith showed an insistent flow and an artistic excess that immediately made fans crave for more.

Since then, MARQ has continued its evolution with a sound that draws on jazzy elements, heavy bass tones and sharp rhyming schemes—delivered with cool precision and raw nerve.

On stage, MARQ is not an undescribed magazine either. As support for, among others, PIND and Soleima, he has distinguished himself with a strong live presence that is hard to miss.

With the release of its third single “CLARK KENT”, MARQ is now ready to take Ideal Bar to its first headliner concert in Copenhagen on October 10.

The rapper talks about his upcoming concert in VEGA:

“I've been looking forward to being able to build my own show and be headliner. Before, I've been support, where people came for something else -- now they come for me and I give them everything. People still have the best for good”.
