MARTA ZALEWSKA “Simple stories of SOLO ACT TOUR”

We invite you to a unique concert performed by Marta Zalewska organized as part of the tour “Simple stories SOLO ACT TOUR”. The event will take place on October 10 at 18:00 in the chamber hall of the Municipal Cultural Center in Świdnik.

“Simple Stories SOLO ACT TOUR” is an author's project by Marta Zalewska promoting her upcoming solo album, released in the year in which the artist celebrates the 30th anniversary of her artistic work. Marta is a singer and multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter — the album is entirely written, composed and performed exclusively by her (all parts) — hence the idea of chamber, organic, personal concerts of SOLO ACT promoting the new release, which will be released in autumn 2026. “Simple Stories” is Martha's tribute to her favorite acoustic sounds and singer/songwriter aesthetic — combining American folk and country inspirations with Slavic melodiousness.

Marta Zalewska is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter, consistently creating an expressive, original musical language, freely combining influences of different genres and aesthetics. The artist is fluent in many instruments, which allows her to create multidimensional compositions, often realized entirely on her own. She has released five solo albums, including musical and literary projects inspired by the works of Adam Mickiewicz, Jan Kochanowski and Angelus Silesius, as well as a concert album released as part of JAZZ.PL on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the album “Wołanie o soleil nad Światem” by Dżamble, where, singing and playing bass, she performed as a soloist of her She also served as the orchestra's music director. In the years 2021-2023 she was the music director of the Warsaw Rampa Theatre. Marta Zalewska composes music for theatrical performances, and her works are used on stages throughout Poland, including the H. Modrzejewska Stary Theatre in Krakow, the Wanda Siemaszkowa Theatre in Rzeszów, the Jan Kochanowski Theatre in Opole, the Nowy Theatre in Poznań and the Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk. At the same time he co-creates original team projects (Woodlore with Magdalena Czwojda and let's end it with Marcin Januszkiewicz). In the autumn of 2026, in the jubilee year of the 30th anniversary of Marta's artistic work, her next solo album “Simple stories” will be released, accompanied by the concert tour “Simple stories SOLO ACT TOUR”.
