Martin Schack is an amazing pianist and Hammond organist. He is deeply rooted in the jazz tradition, but at the same time is known for his quirky, swinging improvisations. He plays this evening with another virtuoso, the bassist Thomas Fonnesbæk, who — in addition to fantastic solos — has an uncontrollable drive in his bass playing. Espen Laub is the perfect choice on drums for the trio.
