Dead Eyes | Splat! FilmFest

After the tragic death of Sean's sister, his father also disappears. The boy, along with his fiancee and friends, goes on a search in a remote forest. There he discovers the terrifying secret of his father, and the expedition turns into a fight for his life. “Dead Eyes” is an intense Australian horror film shot entirely from a first-person perspective. A head-mounted camera replaces Sean's vision: we see what he sees, and together with him we discover the dangers hidden in the dark. The limited field of view and noises coming from outside the frame exacerbate the helplessness, and the hero's panic quickly gives way to viewers. The family drama escalates into a macabre nightmare that we watch worryingly close.
