Ash (Bruce Campbell in his iconic role) goes with his girlfriend for a romantic weekend to an abandoned cabin in the depths of the forest. On the spot they find a tape recorder with a recording of fragments of the Book of the Dead (“Necronomicon”). Playing the tape unleashes demonic forces hidden in the forest. A bloody slaughter begins, which scares as much as it is funny. “Dead Evil 2" is not at all a continuation of the first part, but a remake of it. It was the “two” that defined the character of the classic series, in which horror mixes with slapstick comedy. Sam Raimi's film is crazy fun with demons, hectoliters of blood, an possessed hand and a chainsaw.

About the event

They took his girlfriend. They took his hand. But they gave him a chainsaw. Groovy!

“Dead Evil 2” is one of those films that is really difficult to describe in a few words. Raimi himself combined horror, grotesque and slapstick here, creating a crazy mixture of bloody horror and absurd humor. The dynamic camera, practical special effects and the ingenuity of the creators made the film one of the most important horror titles of the 80s and permanently inscribed in pop culture.
