Mary Poppins

In London in 1910, Jane and Michael, who are neglected by their busy parents, wear out nanny after nanny. This changes when Mary Poppins (Julie Andrews) literally flew into the house to drive away all grumbling. She is exactly what the children imagine a nanny to be: With her and street painter Bert, they experience one adventure after another and go on trips into a world in which the children's room cleans itself up, the world of things comes alive and you can dance with cartoon characters. Effective tricks, grotesque comedy, lively dance performances and some songs that have now become classics provide successful family entertainment.
