Masego

Masego fills Store VEGA with irresistible grooves

Masego's latest album, Fix Your Face, released this year, combines vulnerability, faith, spirituality and the groove-driven musicality that has long characterized his artistic expression.

Created over a period of nearly three years, the album reflects a time of great personal upheaval. As many as 150 songs have been on the drawing board in the creation process of Fix Your Face.

In Masego's music, he combines the playful elements of jazz with his soft, soulful vocals with rhythms from R&B and hip hop. The unique sound he himself has dubbed “TrapHouseJazz”.

With his musical roots in Virginia, he has forged his own path as a storyteller. Using his loop pedal, which records a piece of music and plays it in an infinite loop, he builds the songs up from scratch and weaves rhythms together.

On stage, he transposes his musical universe into energetic live performances. With a stage presence filling the space, Masego has toured the world and played concerts in more than 40 countries.

On February 14, Masego will dance in Store VEGA with grooving rhythms, infectious energy and his distinctive vocals.
