We invite you to a unique artistic workshop. They will be led by the painter and sculptor Kinga Nowak — author of the exhibition Rzar mi tropicuw in Bunker Sztuki.
During the meeting, we will reflect together on the importance of the mask and the European perspective on trade in “art” and museum objects. We will create masks, which will be an opportunity to express our own idea of ourselves and to externalize fears in a plastic form. Starting from the phenomenon of the multiplicity of faces — from African ritual masks to Slavic Karaboshkas, images such as the Svyatovid — we will explore different perspectives of looking at ourselves and our surroundings.
For whom: AdultsCost: 20 zł
Tickets are non-refundable.
Kinga Nowak is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where she has been running the Painting Studio since 2023. She also studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
