Masks, roles and who we really are — meeting with Weronika Murek and Maciej Płaza

What roles do we take on a daily basis? How much of what we show to others, and how much is hidden — when the lights go out, the conversation ends, the masks fall?

During the final of the literary and psychological festival “Only RelACja” we invite you to a meeting in which literature will become the starting point for a conversation about identity, relationships, appearances and how we tell ourselves.

We will talk about two exceptional books nominated for the “Nike” Literary Award: “Birthdays” by Weronika Murek and “Kasperle and Margit” by Maciej Płazy. Both show how much can lurk beneath the surface of everyday gestures, words and social roles.

The guests of the meeting will be Weronika Murek and Maciej Płaza, and the conversation will be moderated by Dagny Kurdwanowska.
