Masterclass

The Masterclass meetings are a unique part of the Silver Wyspiański Club project. They are a series of meetings with outstanding actors, directors and other people professionally connected with the theater. Their idea is to create a space for seniors to meet directly with masters of the performing arts. Each meeting allows you to get to know the theater from the perspective of the people who co-create it on a daily basis. Guests share their knowledge, experience, artistic inspirations and stories not available in textbooks. Thanks to this, the participants can look behind the scenes of the work on the performance and better understand the process of its creation.

Masterclass is not a traditional lecture or an ordinary conversation with an artist. It's a lively, engaging encounter where theory meets practice and knowledge meets personal experience. Participants can ask questions, exchange insights, and actively engage in conversation. They also learn how the role is created, what the director's work consists of, and how the language and customs of the theater have changed. An important element of the workshop is learning about the history of the scene, its traditions, symbolism and the people who created it. The presenters show that the theater is not a closed world intended exclusively for professionals.

The meetings will be held on the dates: 11.10, 7.11, 26.11, 13.12, 19.12.2026.

During the meeting on October 11, the guest will be director Agata Duda-Gracz.
