Guest Games
The phenomenon of the Matilda effect is named after the American activist Matilda Joslyn Gage, who pointed out as early as the 19th century how women's scientific work was attributed to men. Now Limfjordsteatret brings the women — and their discoveries — to light. Discover the driving force and cost behind women's groundbreaking feats -- and some of the discoveries they never got credit for.
The Matilda Effect is a poetic, sensual and humorous puppet show for adults — featuring two eminent puppeteers magically weaving their own bodies and voices together with puppets of all sizes. It is a tale of the driving force and cost that, throughout history, have been behind the pioneering exploits of women scientists.
