One of Witkacy's most famous plays — “Mother” — on the poster of the Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw.

Agata Kulesza will play Janina Węgorzewska, a blind woman who spends her time knitting and helps herself with various substances... She also tries to build a relationship with her son Leon (Adam Cywka), a native artist and philosopher. The atmosphere thickens, the tension grows until the end is difficult to predict, but inevitable.

“Mother” is exhibited at the Ateneum by Anna Augustynowicz, one of the most interesting and most awarded Polish theater directors, who has long dreamed of working with Agata Kulesha. What will come of their meeting? A great artistic event is being prepared. Premiere already in April.
