Mazovia Christmas — Concert of Carols and Pastorals

Carols and Pastorałki performed by soloists, choir and orchestra of the Tadeusz Sygietyński National Folk Song and Dance Ensemble “Mazowsze” are among the most beautiful traditional interpretations. They evoke the unique atmosphere of Polish Christmas, with a white tablecloth, a Christmas tree and a wafer. In times of “White Christmas” and “Jingle Bells” we can rarely listen to Polish traditional Christmas carols, in which the rhythm of mazur, oberek or polonaise sounds.

“Mazowsze” belongs to the largest artistic ensembles in the world, reaching for the richness of national dances, songs, songs and customs. Due to its huge repertoire, “Mazowsze” is widely recognized as a national ensemble. For thousands of foreign audiences, “Mazowsza” concerts were the first contact with Polish culture. “If this is the face of Poland, then long live Poland!” The Swiss newspaper “Gazette de Lausanne” wrote about the band, and Jerzy Waldorff called “Mazovia” the pearl in the crown of the Republic of Poland. So far, more than 27 million viewers have seen us, we have driven 2.3 million km! We visited 210 towns in Poland and 51 countries of the world, and by presenting folk songs and national dances we gained popularity and the title of Ambassador of Polish Culture.
