Megadeth

The next chapter of Megadeth's years-long farewell tour will begin with the release of the historic album, which reached number one on the charts in 11 countries. In Poland, the concert will take place on April 2 at TAURON Arena Kraków.

One of the best seasons in the career of this legend is underway. Thrash metal pioneers and Grammy Award winners Megadeth have announced Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations, the European leg of their multi-year global farewell tour. The tour, which includes 24 concerts in halls, will begin on March 9, 2027 in Belfast, and will reach Poland on April 2 at TAURON Arena Kraków.

Megadeth will be accompanied throughout this tour by other metal giants — Black Label Society and Testament. Together they form one of the most anticipated concert lineups of 2027.

The tour follows the massive global success of Megadeth's seventeenth and final studio album, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 — the first album in the band's history to reach the top of the chart. He confirmed Megadeth's position as one of the most enduring and influential forces in the metal scene. The European leg of the tour will cover 12 of the 22 countries where the album made the top five sales charts, underscoring Megadeth's continued international popularity. Instead of a single farewell tour, the band's last trip was planned as a multi-continent multi-continent celebration, giving fans around the world plenty of opportunities to see Megadeth live.

“It's not about saying goodbye,” Dave Mustaine says. “It's about celebrating everything we've created together over the last four decades. Each city has its own story, each audience has left us unforgettable memories, and we want to return to them to celebrate with the fans who made it all possible.”

“When we started talking about this tour, we wanted it to be a true metal festival. Black Label Society and Testament are bands that we hold in great respect, and their participation will make these shows even more special. This lineup represents several decades of heavy music history. The fans have an amazing night ahead of them,” Mustaine added.

For more than four decades, Megadeth has continually pushed the boundaries of metal, with bold compositions, virtuosic play and uncompromising live performances. Fans can expect a concert that will be the culmination of the band's entire career, commemorating each stage of Megadeth's work. There will be iconic anthems, songs beloved by fans and a selection of tracks from the latest album that conquered the sales charts.
