Megan Cleasby

Following her studies in classical performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, South East London-based vocalist and songwriter Megan Cleasby has developed a versatile sound spanning jazz and original music. For this performance, Megan presents a selection of jazz standards alongside her own original compositions.

Megan has performed at renowned London venues including PizzaExpress Live Soho, Milton Court, Notting Hill Arts Club and Toulouse Lautrec, as well as at The Jazz Sanctuary as part of the London Jazz Festival. Career highlights include performing her single Green Light with an orchestra at the Barbican and collaborating with US-based duo Smoakland Beats on a single that she performed live at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Performing regularly across the UK, Megan currently holds a residency at The Ned and has previously performed at prestigious venues such as The Bloomsbury. She has also recently joined LUMOS for a series of jazz performances across the country.

Passionate about collaboration and creative exploration, Megan has hosted her own jazz jam sessions in London for several years, bringing musicians together to exchange ideas, discover new sounds and explore musical possibilities.
