Mehoffer — guided tour for people aged 60+

In the atmospheric House of Józef Mehoffer, the spirit of the times in which the artist lived is preserved — thanks to rich authentic furnishings and recreating the appearance of the rooms on the basis of family memories and documents. The tour will be an opportunity to get to know the famous painter and stained glass artist and trace his creative path: from youthful works, through the golden period of Young Poland to the time of occupation and interwar.

In these special interiors, paintings full of vibrant colors and stained glass windows saturated with symbolism make a special impression — it is worth taking a close look at them and learning their secrets thanks to the guide's story. The tour will be a treat not only for lovers of Young Poland and historic interiors, but also for those who like plants and greenery — thanks to the garden at the back of the house designed by Mehoffer and painstakingly recreated.
