When talking about the most up-and-coming metalcore bands of the moment, there is hardly a way around Melrose Avenue. With their mix of catchy pop and powerful metalcore, the band has built up a worldwide fan base since 2022 and, after support tours for Ice Nine Kills, The Word Alive and The Funeral Portrait, has long since made the leap to worldwide tours as headliners — and that without having released an album yet. The fact that Melrose Avenue is undoubtedly one of the most hyped Australian metalcore bands of the moment was also proven by their first European headline tour in November 2025, which sold out completely right after the pre-sale began. The three intimate club shows in June 2026 were also sold out after a few days. Anyone who has missed Melrose Avenue in this country so far can be won over by the hype surrounding the Australians in Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin and Munich in February and March 2027.

When Melrose Avenue released their metal covers of Avril Lavigne's “Complicated” and Nickelback's “Photograph” in 2022, the band led by TikTok star Vlado Saric quickly sparked a wave within the international metalcore scene. Melrose Avenue also dedicates themselves to a pop metalcore sound in their own songs, which is quickly well received with hard riffs, breakdowns and catchy choruses on songs such as their most-streamed song “Suffering” or “Through Hell” in 2023. In a recent interview with Morecore.de, the band described their sound as follows: “If it was a party, Nickelback would be at the grill while Justin Bieber cooked, Bullet For My Valentine bring the drinks and Sleep Token serve dessert.” After signing with Hopeless Records in 2024, the debut EP “Fool and the Beggar” was released, whose title track became the band's next hit track. Since 2025, the band has been releasing more singles, of which “Reflections” is the next fan favorite. On their latest single “This Is The End,” Melrose Avenue dedicate themselves to their gentle side and present a quiet ballad. With acoustic guitars and Saric's soulful vocals, the track becomes an emotional singer-songwriter ballad and thus forms an exciting contrast to the metal-heavy sound of previous singles. The band's first album is sometimes eagerly awaited by their fans.
