Memorial of Gregory the Free

The Grzegorz Wolny Memorial is a unique concert dedicated to the memory of a man who has forever been inscribed in the hearts of our local, Czerwien community.

Grzegorz “Wyny” Wolny was an artist with extraordinary charisma — the lead singer of the bands Ash and Prognoza na Życie. As a councillor of the City Council of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, he took care of our everyday life, and in the cult pub “Stara Piwnica” he created a space for meetings and conversations. He was also the originator and heart of the Around The Rock festival, which proudly made Czerwionka famous on the rock map of Poland.

On November 28, 2026, we will join forces with Bulbulators, Underground and Luxtorped to pay tribute to him. We invite you to an evening full of energy and rock sound — exactly what his soul was!
