It is 2050. Poland is no longer a member of the European Union or NATO for a long time, the world has divided into new spheres of influence, and the war - at least in this part of the globe - has become a distant memory. However, not everyone sees this as good news. Major, a former soldier and veteran of the mission in Afghanistan, embarks with his daughter Olivia on a journey through the traces of his past. As if that were not enough, they are joined by Andrzej Kmicic — a tireless specialist in warrior, honor and national fantasy.
Łukasz Pawłowski in a grotesque, at times ridiculously funny story looks at our need to create heroes and enemies and national myths. Underneath the political satire is the story of a father and a daughter — two people bound together far more strongly than either of them would have liked.
The play is directed by Maciej Białoruski — winner of the 2nd edition of the Competition for female directors at the beginning of their professional career organized by the Contemporary Theatre in Warsaw.
* Co-financed from the funds of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Fund for the Promotion of Culture — a state special purpose fund.
