Pop culture has accustomed us to certain images that simplify the world and has shaped the attitudes we adopt towards the unknown. So what can we do to see the world as it is, and not just as it is told to us? The answer to this question will be sought by, among others, Dale Cooper, an FBI agent who is fearless of the most difficult puzzles.
Klaudia Gębska directs the performance based on the most famous collection of essays by Rebekka Solnit — the author, thanks to whom the wave of the #metoo movement swept through the world, and the term “mansplaining” entered the language. Mariusz Gołosz, one of the most interesting contemporary Polish playwrights, is responsible for the balance of a critical view of reality. The world premiere of the text will take place on International Theater Day, March 27, 2026.
The character of Rebecca is not a real representation of Rebecca Solnit, but only a type characteristic of the theatrical convention adopted by the people creating the performance. She should not be equated with the real author of the book.
The show is recommended for viewers from the age of 16.
