CITY IN FRONT OF THE SILVER SCREEN. HISTORY OF LEGNICA CINEMAS

OPENING OF THE OPEN-AIR EXHIBITION “THE CITY IN FRONT OF THE SILVER SCREEN. HISTORY OF LEGNICA CINEMAS”

The exhibition prepared by Dr. Marek Żak from the Copper Museum presents the history of cinema in Legnica since the first screenings 130 years ago. It tells both about the cinema premises still operating today, and about those long closed, of which dozens were operating in the city at that time: from small salon cinemas of the pioneer period to huge buildings accommodating a thousand spectators.
