“NO FOOD: Hungry Cookbook” is an author's meeting with Inka Brzuzan dedicated to the process of creating a research and artistic project nofood. The starting point will be a presentation documenting the development of the project — from field research and travel to artistic realizations. The project examines hunger not as a result of natural disasters, but as a consequence of political and economic decisions. The meeting will be accompanied by a presentation of selected “hunger dishes” — ephemeral culinary forms inspired by authentic survival strategies, which are an integral part of the project.

Inka Brzuzan — visual artist and sculptor. He creates installations, objects and activities referred to as “performative sculptures”. In her research and artistic projects, she explores the relationship between man, environment and matter, combining art with research at the frontiers of anthropology, ecology and natural sciences.

She has participated in international residency programs, including the Gasworks Gallery in London, the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris and the Futura Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague. She is the winner of the Samsung Art Master Award and a three-time scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

She has presented her works at the Ujazdowski Castle Museum of Modern Art and Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Gasworks Gallery in London, Théâtre de la Ville in Paris and during the Kochi-Muziris Biennale and Karachi Biennale.

City:Creator is a project that promotes art in Rzeszów, teaches about it and connects the environment of local artists and residents of the city. The initiative is fully dedicated to local artists, their work, but also to the places where they work and create on a daily basis.
