Michael Blicher's Funky Piano Quartet

Saxophonist Michael Blicher (The KutiMangoes, Blicher-Hemmer-Gadd, Astro Buddha Agogo) and pianist Peter Rosendal (winner of the DMA for Best Jazz Release of the Year in 2020) have played together in many contexts. Most recently, Peter has appeared on 2 tracks on Blicher Hemmer Gadd's album No. 3. In connection with the recordings, Blicher and Rosendal agreed that it would be great to do a few exclusive concerts together at La Fontaine. To complete the band, Blicher and Rosendal have invited two quite eminent musicians, namely the bassist Thomas Vang and the drummer Anders Holm.
